300ml red wine vinegar

1 tsp black mustard seeds

1 tsp yellow mustard seeds

½ tsp chilli powder

You can't beat homemade chutneys and jams, they make the best presents for friends and family and are really satisfying to serve at the table. You can tailor make them to your own tastes, so add more chilli if needs be or experiment with spices, sugar etc. This is a super easy recipe and is the prefect accompaniment with cheeses, cold meats and even burgers.

P r e p a r a t i o n

Finely chop the onion and add along with the rest of the ingredients, switch on to program 1 (which programme), and then set for 40 minutes. Et’ Voila…. a wonderful chutney!
